15° Conferenza nazionale malattie a trasmissione sessuale e HIV

Vorremmo invitarvi a partecipare al 15th National STI*HIV*Sex Conference, che si terrà il Giovedi 1 dicembre nella Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.

Ogni anno, centinaia di professionisti si incontrano alla Conferenza Mondiale AIDS Day per trovare il modo migliore per rispondere alle questioni riguardanti la salute sessuale, malattie sessualmente trasmissibili e l'HIV, sia nei Paesi Bassi che in altri paesi. Mettiamo a disposizione una piattaforma di ispirazione per i ricercatori, responsabili politici e coloro che lavorano nel settore.

La conferenza è costituita da una sessione plenaria e due wokshop, e include quanto segue:

Marianne Donker, Direttore Sanità Pubblica presso il Ministero della Salute, benessere e dello sport, terrà una presentazione in mattinata su HIV e politica di salute sessuale;

Frank Schalken, fondatore e amministratore delegato di E-hulp.nl , ci mostrerà come gli ultimi sviluppi della sanità elettronica possono essere utilizzati per migliorare la salute e i cambiamenti di comportamento ;

Joep Lange, Professore di Medicina presso l'Università di Amsterdam Academic Medical Centre, ha molti anni di esperienza nella risposta globale all'AIDS. Vi spiegherà il significato di nuove conoscenze scientifiche. In particolare, si concentrerà su PREP e l'effetto preventivo di un ottimale trattamento antiretrovirale;

'Salute sessuale e diritti in tutto il mondo' La sessione sarà un dibattito sulle sfide e le opportunità dell'approccio 'olandese' basato sui diritti del lavoro a livello internazionale negli anni a venire;

Le sessioni plenarie saranno seguite da tavole rotonde con esperti, ospitati dal noto giornalista olandese Charles Groenhuijsen;

E infine, un pensiero stimolante da parte del filosofo, scrittore e produttore di programmi televisivi Haring Bas.

Where research, policy and practice join forces

Dear colleague,

We would like to invite you to attend the 15th National STI*HIV*Sex Conference, which is taking place on Thursday 1 December in the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.

Each year, hundreds of professionals meet at the World AIDS Day conference to find the best way to respond to issues regarding sexual health, STIs and HIV, in both the Netherlands and other countries. We provide an inspirational platform for researchers, policy makers and those working in the field.

The conference consists of a plenary programme and two rounds of workshops, and includes the following:

Marianne Donker, Director of Public Health at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, will hold a presentation in the morning on the new STI/HIV and sexual health policy;

Frank Schalken, founder and managing director of the E-hulp.nl trust, will show us how the latest developments in E-Health can be used to improve health and change behaviour;

Joep Lange, Professor of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam Academic Medical Centre, has many years of experience in the global response to AIDS. He will explain the significance of new scientific insights. In particular, he will focus on PrEP and the preventive effect of optimal antiretroviral treatment;

The session ‘Sexual health and rights worldwide!’ will be a discussion on challenges and opportunities in “the Dutch” rights-based approach of working internationally in the years to come;

The plenary sessions will be followed by round table discussions with experts, hosted by well-known Dutch journalist Charles Groenhuijsen;

And finally, a thought-provoking talk by philosopher, writer and TV programme maker Bas Haring.
